Must See: Casino Jack, The Forthcoming Film Starring Kevin Spacey as Jack Abramoff
A friend was in a test audience in Los Angeles for the forthcoming film Casino Jack . The film is a biopic of disgraced lobbyist Jack Abramoff. Even though my friend saw a rough cut of the film, he said it was great and that the test audience seemed to have liked it a lot. The film shows the seamy dealings of GOP bigwigs Tom DeLay and Bob Ney.
The film also documents the sleaziness of former Christian Coalition leader Ralph Reed. I suspect the film might have a serious negative effect on Reed's attempt to make a political comback. Thank God.

Wing-Nut Battle: Michael Savage Versus Mark Levin
Right-wing talk radio jocks Michael Savage and Mark Levin are competitors (they both have the Noon to 3:00 PM EST time slot. Even though both are certifiable wing-nuts, they hate each other's guts (I wrote about their feud a while ago--click here and scroll down to the addendum).

Levin loves to call Savage's show "Weiner Nation" (Savage's real surname is Weiner). A couple of days ago, I was flipping through the stations and heard Savage/Weiner refer to Levin as the guy who "sounds like Groucho Marx's grandmother after a hysterectomy."
