I Just Got this From Atrios--Read It
Phony victimhood from the Sectarian Right. Kudos to Dave Johnson for this comprehensive post. Quick note: The group behind the disinformation campaign is the Alliance Defense Fund; one of the founders listed is the late Marlin Maddox. When I monitored the sectarian right's radio programs in the 1990's, Maddox was front and center in the various paranoid Clinton conspiracy theories, e.g., the Clinton Body Count, Foster, Mena. I wish I had been a fly on the wall when Maddox went to his "reward" and had to do some 'splaining to God.
On a similar note: I have a new link: TheocracyWatch.org.
UPDATE: Maddox is mentioned on my post on the "Satanic panic."
