Remember when it was disclosed during the Clinton administration that contributors to Bill Clinton's campaigns were treated to overnight stays at the White House in the Lincoln Bedroom? Remember hearing the hue and cry from the professional scandalmongers on the right that President Clinton was turning the White House into a Motel 6? (John McCain in 1999: "The scandal in Washington wasn't Monica Lewinsky. The scandal was that the President [Clinton] turned the Lincoln Bedroom into Motel 6, and he was the bellhop.") Notice how the same voices are silent when it was disclosed that George W. Bush's donors are sleeping in the Lincoln Bedroom? Also, did you notice how the supposed mainstream media has largely given Bush a free pass when it held Clinton's feet to the fire?
