Help Me Mess With a 419 Scammer
Those of you who follow this blog know that on occasionally I mess with the Nigerian 419 Scammers/Spammers (e.g., here)
The latest scammer claims to be the widow of a former Nigerian strongman. I've wasted a lot of his/her time so far. Help me out:
1) Write the person at email@example.com and indicate your interest in the business offer. Start the letter out "Dear Hajia Mariam" or "Dear Hajia"
2) Keep the scammer busy for as long as possible. The anti-419 web site 419 Eater has tips and some funny stories about the scammers being scammed by counter-scammers (such as this one).
Note: Of course, don't give your telephone number or any personal info like, duh, bank account numbers.
