Blogging the Democracy Fest
I'm in the blogger's lounge at the Democracy Fest that is being held this weekend at San Diego. I saw some bloggers with laptops but they have desktops for bloggers who don't have laptops. I'm right next another blogger--one from Bias Magazine in Denver.
I haven't gone to any of the conferences today but have been milling around the area. I spoke with various people who set up tables. . . I donated $5 to Jeeni Criscenzo's campaign--she's running against Darrell Issa. . . I'm going to the screening of The Time is Now tomorrow. . . I met someone who is putting out a graphic novel about how the 2004 election was stolen by Kenneth Blackwell. . . I met blogger Peter Clothier, blogger and author of The Bush Diaries. . .News Hounds has a table. . . I met a correspondent for Daily Kos. . . Speaking of Kos, I noticed that many bloggers have Yearly Kos laptop holders. . . I tried to get a ticket for tomorrow's blogger's breakfast but it's sold out. They told me to show up anyway.
Update: I'll have more on Democracy Fest later in the week.
